Designed in 1974 by Italian architect and industrial designer Vico Magistretti, Maralunga is one of the most iconic sofas in the Cassina collection.

Winner of the prestigious Compasso d’Oro design award in 1979, Maralunga is the embodiment of comfort, with its adjustable headrest which offers a high or low backrest. This design innovation was achieved by inserting a simple bicycle chain inside the foam of the backrest.

Materials & finishes
Steel framed sofa with CFC-free polyurethane foam and polyester padding. Back with a movable headrest which is convertible from low to high position. The sofa headrests are individual and independent for each seat. Base with black or light grey plastic material trim. Fixed fabric upholstery in Cassina Morandi fabric options.
