Designed by Gerrit T Rietveld in 1934, the Cassina 280 Zig-Zag Chair is an iconic piece and is included in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art.

Using only four elements joined with a system known as dovetailing, the Cassina Zig-Zag chair's visual simplicity disguises a complex construction. Made of natural Cherrywood or Ashwood in a range of playful colourways, its versatile design can serve as a chair or a side table. Each piece is numbered with an engraved signature and comes with certification to verify its authenticity and is ideally utilised around a dining table, as a standalone sculptural piece or within a commercial environment.
