Winner of the Furniture Of The Year, Bo Bedre Design Award in 2017, the Menu Tailor Sofa, designed by Rui Alves, embodies a beautiful sense of serenity.

The inspiration for the design came from Rui’s Grandfather’s favourite tailor shop. An impressionable memory of tailors bent over worktables and benches, surrounded by old wooden hangers and suits stayed with Rui, leading to the creation of a refined, authentic sofa design. Defined by the elegant, curved oak frame, with a smooth upholstered shell delicately placed on top, the Tailor Sofa has a lightweight and airy appearance. Rui wanted a sofa that could be appreciated from every angle, with the wooden joints carefully designed to follow the silhouette of the sofa. The Tailor Sofa is a stunning representation of the importance of traditional craftsmanship and nostalgia in contemporary furniture design.

Materials & finishes
Frame is made from steam bent solid oak, in either natural soaped or dark stained. Shell is moulded from fibreglass and then upholstered in either Maple 102 or Hallingdal 65 – 103 fabric. Seat cushions made from cold foam.
