Inspired by the Bund, a historical district of central Shanghai, the Bund Dining Chair is designed by Stellar Works creative directors, the interdisciplinary and forward-thinking duo Neri & Hu.

A series of complementary elements inspired by there industrial origins, the Bund Dining Chair combines the soft curves of rich upholstery with the organic structural finish of natural wooden legs. The piece pays homage to the Art Deco style that is heavily entrenched within the city of Shanghai, creating a piece that symbolizes the cities past, present, and future. Although intended for use around a contemporary dining arrangement, the Bund Dining Chair is equally at home utilised as an occasional side chair in a bedroom or dressing room.
