Designed in 1957 by Finn Juhl, the 57 Two Seater Sofa was the first of his designs that House of Finn Juhl relaunched.
Finn Juhl’s widow, Hanne Wilhelm Hansen, commissioned a single issue of the sofa based on Juhl's original drawings, resulting in a profound partnership with House of Finn Juhl who were then granted the exclusive rights to manufacture his iconic furniture. The 57 Sofa's magnificent, sculptural silhouette, defined by smooth clean lines and the stunning arrangement of simple rectangles and shapes, form a beautifully inviting, spacious seat space. With the striking high armrests creating a cocooned area of comfort and support, the innovative design is truly timeless; a wonderful addition to the contemporary home.
