Designed for the American market in the late 1950s, the France Chair is an homage to C.W.F France, an English businessman whose manufacturing company France & Son partnered with Finn Juhl. France and Juhl's partnership was the genesis of a great many timeless pieces, which propelled Finn Juhl into his position as one of the foremost interior designers of the era. Upholstered with prestige cognac leather, the France Chair is a beatiful, functional enduring classic.

Oil treated oak frame with upholstery in cognac (40680) leather from the Sorensen Prestige collection. Prestige is a fabulous, full grain leather with a sumptuous soft touch and a slight shine. Despite its upscale appearance, Prestige has an incredible appealing practical side, as well. The protective surface finish makes it extremely durable and entirely smudge-proof. What’s more, it’s extremely comfortable to sit in, look at and live with.
