The spectacular House of Finn Juhl Glove Cabinet broke design traditions when it was first presented in 1961 at the Cabinetmaker’s Guild Exhibition in Copenhagen.
Designed by Finn Juhl for his wife, Hanne Wilhelm Hansen, the artistic jewellery box design is a dynamic reinvention of the traditional chest of draws. Taking inspiration from a glove cabinet, the slender draws, defined by a spectrum of beautiful, bold colours create an elegant storage space for the home. Crafted from exclusive solid Japanese cherry wood, finished with subtle brass detailing, the luxurious design is iconic in style; an extraordinary tribute to both the past, present and the future.
