The Kaufmann Table is a large working desk originally made for Finn Juhl's own home at Kratvænget in Charlottenlund.

The Kaufmann Table is a beautifully hand-crafted product with an expressive nature. Designer Finn Juhl has deliberately kept the table plate and the frame in different types of wood - a light and a dark one - in order to create contrast and interest. The table, although not officially named by Juhl, has been given its title as a tribute to Juhl’s friend, the former manager of MoMa, Edgar Kaufmann Jr. It was Kaufmann who 'discovered' Juhl and paved the way for his international career.
