The Reading Chair, by House of Finn Juhl, is a versatile piece that was intended to act as both a reading and dining chair.

Designed in 1953 for the company Bovirke, the beautiful chair allows for multiple sitting positions; a unique function where Juhl wanted the seat to be comfortable whether you choose to sit facing the front or the back. A sculptural yet simple design, the Reading Chair boasts supportive, curved seat and back shells and a striking horizontal top piece that sits just above the back. Upholstered in luxurious Sorensen leather, the chair provides a comforting, timeless seating area, ideal for grouping in a dining room or for standing alone in a hallway in the modern home.
